MEET THE CYCLE 8 SANDBOX RESIDENTS
A Play-based, Psychologically-informed Toolkit For Parent-adolescent Sexual Health Dialogue
Designing Brave Conversations is an interdisciplinary and exploratory project that seeks to design and prototype psychologically-informed play-based communication tools that support parent-adolescent dialogue around relationships, consent, emotional wellbeing, boundaries, and adolescent sexual and reproductive health (ASRH).
Bringing together practitioners and researchers in psychology alongside emerging designers and creatives, the project integrates psychology, parenting, child development, and human-centered participatory design to explore how playful and emotionally-engaging conversations can foster safer and more meaningful family interactions.

One Day In Marawi is an investigative art exhibition portraying life in the Islamic City before, during, and after the 2017 siege. It features creative works, multimedia, and public programs interrogating issues on land dispossession, post-crisis rehabilitation and reconstruction, and protracted displacement based on in-depth and community-rooted research works.
Almost a decade since the conflict has ended, this experimental project revitalizes the call of thousands of Marawi’s forcibly displaced residents: a just, dignified, and safe return to their homes.
Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
The Role We Play III builds on a successful partnership with the Alliance of People’s Organizations along the Manggahan Floodway (APOAMF), co-learning with its urban poor community partner to move beyond secure housing toward sustainable cities and communities.
By weaving together community memory, design thinking, creative workshops, and academic research, the project transforms lived experiences into a shared vision for leadership succession, inclusive dialogue, and collective action.
The project aims to work for transformative education, bridge social-cultural divides, advocate for health and well-being, and promote planetary sustainability to co-create a future where empowered communities lead lasting change from the ground up.
