Celebrate Women’s Month with us! Areté in partnership with L’Oreal’s For Women in Science Programme, is hosting a panel discussion on March 14, 2020. The panel is composed of Filipina scientists with strong, established careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). They will each be discussing how they began and grew in their careers, what gender-related adversities they confronted and overcame, and how the next generation can prepare for careers in STEM.
This activity is free and open to the public. The panel discussion is not only directed at young women and girls with a strong interest in these disciplines – it is open to anyone curious about the STEM fields in the Philippines, and the female scientists who thrive in these areas.
