As an auxiliary activity to The World’s Best Typography: The 65th Annual Exhibition of the Type Directors Club (TDC65), Areté presents "Tipong Pilipino and the Influences of Filipino Visual Vernacular on Type", a special discussion on experimental Filipino typography. The participating design studios will talk about the idea behind their submissions for the Tipong Pilipino exhibit, which was originally mounted for the Escolta Block Festival in November 2019.
Intro by organizers Clara Cayosa and Vince Africa
