Multimedia Designer (OS-V)

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Multimedia Designer supports the Offices of the Executive Director and Artistic Director of Areté in the design and development of multimedia materials for various programs, including collaborations and partnerships of Areté with other entities within and outside Ateneo de Manila University.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • I. Design and development of promotional multimedia materials such as program-related digital assets and printable materials to support and promote different activities and events. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • The design of promotional materials for posting on social media channels
    • The design and updating of digital visual assets on the Areté website
  • II. Design and development of multimedia materials for Areté-initiated projects. This includes the production/design/development of:
    • Graphics for Areté programs and related events
    • Presentation materials for internal and external communication
    • Visual assets on the Areté website
    • Other types of visual content for use on social media or in Areté projects
  • III. Performs other duties as may be requested by the Executive Director to achieve the goals of the unit

Qualifications:

  • College graduate in Information Design/Graphic Design/Fine Arts/Multimedia Arts or any related field

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and written communications
  • Excellent design/aesthetic sensibilities
  • Able to translate communication and marketing strategies into design outputs
  • Use of various software and hardware for multimedia design
  • Planning and organizing skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively
  • Problem-solving abilities
