Description

Grace is a powerful straight play based on the true story of Sister Teresita Castillo and the 1948 Lipa Marian apparitions. It brings to today’s consciousness the earth-shattering story of faith, obedience, and relentlessness of the Discalced Carmelite nuns of Lipa, Batangas. Grace explores the actual accounts of the apparitions and juxtaposes them with the contestations made by the patriarchal hierarchy of the Catholic Church.
