Join us for a captivating evening celebrating the renowned Italian opera composer Giacomo Puccini as the Office of the Dean of the School of Humanities of Ateneo de Manila University, in cooperation with the Società Dante Alighieri—Comitato di Manila, presents “Puccini, Antipasti! A Lecture-Performance in Anticipation of the Centennial of Giacomo Puccini.”

Soprano Rica Nepomuceno, an alumna of the world-renowned Bologna Conservatory of Music and professor at the College of Music, University of the Philippines, will share her insights into the life and works of the master. Lionel Guico (baritone), Camille Lopez Molina (soprano), Ervin Lumauag (tenor), and Luci Magalit (pianist), and she, with the talented members of the UP Voice and Music Theater Guild, will then perform select pieces from Puccini's repertoire.

The event takes place on Wednesday, 18 October, at 5:00 pm, at The Doreen Black Box Theater, Areté, Ateneo de Manila University.

The event is free of charge and open to the public.
