Pawikan Do It Together!

Addressing the challenges of sea turtle conservation through an NGO-student org collaboration.

Pawikan Do It Together! aims to bring the message of sea turtle conservation to the Ateneo community and beyond through examining the cultural importance and protection efforts of the Pawikan Conservation Center (PCC) in Morong, Bataan. Through detailing the history of the PCC and learning from local perspectives, the project serves as a bridge to translating the needs of the PCC that can be addresssed collaboratively with a broader range of stakeholders. Additionally, the project will establish a formal collaboration between the Pawikan Conservation Center and the Ateneo Environmental Science Society (AESS), a long-standing partner for the organization’s annual Turtle Walk.
