Karina Therese G. Fernandez, PhD is a full time faculty member of the Ateneo de Manila Faculty Department and Executive Director of the Ateneo Bulatao Center for Psychological Services. She teaches both at the undergraduate and graduate level and has contributed to several local and international psychology journals. She is also a practicing psychotherapist for adolescents and adults.
Dr. Fernandez has been certified by the Center for Mindfulness Studies, Toronto Canada, where she has undergone extensive training in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and has been trained in mindfulness facilitation for clinical populations, children, corporations, and leaders. She has run mindfulness workshops for major corporations, as well as for physicians, psychologists and counselors, parents, teachers, and students.
