Consumer Insight: The Psychology of Marketing Communication

Oman Tanchingco tackles going beyond delivering a brand's message and into the heart of marketing communication: learning about consumers.

Norman S Tanchingco, MA is the Chair of the Marketing and Law Department of the John Gokongwei School of Management. He has been a marketing practitioner for almost three decades, working on over 200 global and local brands. After starting his career working in multinational advertising agencies, he founded a network of local marketing services agencies called The Community which provides marketing consultancy, research, experiential marketing, advertising, digital marketing, content development, learning and development, and educational technology. He has a Masters in Social Psychology and is currently finishing his PhD in Psychology also at the Ateneo de Manila University.
