Adolfo N. Dacanay, S.J. entered the Society of Jesus in 1977 and was ordained in 1983. He obtained his doctorate in Canon Law at the Gregorian University (Rome) in 1989. He teaches undergraduate and graduate theology at the Ateneo de Manila University and canon law at the Don Bosco School of Theology; he also serves as a judge in the ecclesiastical tribunals of the Archdiocese of Manila and of the Dioceses of Pasig and Lucena.
