Roland Benzon on Developing the WIKA Application
Roland Benzon describes how he developed WIKA, which uses augmented reality to give hearing and visually impaired Filipinos access to contemporary media.

Roland Benzon is the patent author and co-founder of Wika, a technology that lets people with hearing and/or visual disabilities enjoy movies, TV shows, and videos through augmented synchronized sign language, closed captions, or audio description. Roland has led Wika’s product development and has over 30 years of experience in software, mobile communications, IT, and media, as well as international business development. He is currently affiliated with the Ateneo Blue Nest Program.
