About the makers:
Plural & Co (https://www.instagram.com/pluralandco/) is a hand-made, locally-sourced accessory brand. They specialize in making statement piece earrings using wood, shells, and textiles from the Philippines. The name ‘Plural’ is intended to represent choice and diversity—providing women a range of styles that are flexible according to each individual’s taste. The brand’s vision is to share arts and crafts, promote love of local products, and inspire people to choose ethical brands.
Kim, The founder & designer of Plural & Co is a self-taught accessories designer. She was a former radio jock of 96.3 Easyrock before Plural & Co. She is currently part of a design-thinking program by DLS-College of Saint Benilde called the Future Shapers. She graduated from Polytechnic University of The Philippines with a bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship. She is also the co-founder of a new plant brand called Plant+ Manila.

About the program:
Areté Makerspace is a program that encourages exploration in both traditional and digital crafting methods. Originally intended to be a series of in-person workshops held in the Eugenio Lopez Jr. Makerspace, the program has been re-imagined in order to continue its goals remotely.
