      4. Why do you think her hat is amazing?

      1. What is the story about? (Give three events in the story)
      2. What did Mia find in the wooden trunk of her grandmother?
      3. Who were the people Mia met in her community?
      4. What were the different things they put on Mia’s hat? What made her hat amazing?
    2. Why do we have community helpers? What would happen if we did not have community helpers?
    3. Class Activity
      1. Who is your favorite character and why?
      2. With pictures, match the things with the correct community helper. (example: doctor – stethoscope, baker – rolling pin/ oven; firefighter – hose)
      3. Draw your own Amazing Hat!
